Who I am depends on the work. I've been called a creative with a strategic brain and a strategist with a creative brain. I've also been called
An idea machine. "What if . . . " is my favorite way to start a sentence.
An armchair psychologist. I’m fascinated by people. I think a lot about what prompts them to take action—to click, to double-tap, to nod and say, “yeah, me too.”
An unapologetic generalist. I've never specialized because I love the challenge of a big, new unknown. Here's just a sampling of the brands I've worked on:
Retail: Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Gap, American Eagle, Chico’s, Saucony
Travel: Westin Hotels, The Waldorf-Astoria, Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Consumer: Coca-Cola, Neutrogena, Duracell, Johnson & Johnson
Financial: American Express, Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young
A scenic-route taker. I’ve published two award-winning children’s books. I’ve backpacked across thirteen countries. I have an art history degree from Cambridge and a professional culinary school degree. I’ve even been a game show contestant. I've always been more interested in the detours than the destination.
A terrible waitress. But my manager kept me around because "I can schedule you on on any shift; you never have any drama with anyone." I play well with others.
