Gap Inc. / Fragrance Concepts and Naming

Developing a fragrance concept from scratch is pretty fun. Developing two separate lines for a couple of big-name sister brands was a dream.

For Banana Republic, the goal was to bring some much-needed sensuality to a brand associated more with the head than the heart. The fragrances were concepted around thoughtfully curated, luxuriously essential elements to evoke mood, touch, and sense of place.

Gap's brand sweet spot is uncomplicated optimism, so their fragrances needed to speak to simple, universal pleasures and memories. The result: the ultimate collection of "good things".
